Precautions for the storage, transportation and usage maintenance of the die-cutting machine

Storage of the die-cutting machine
It should be stored in a cool and dry place. To prevent the blades on the equipment from rusting, a thin layer of oil can be applied to the blades and the surrounding areas using a nylon brush. It is best to use the box provided by the die-cutting tool supplier for storage, ensuring that the blades do not come into contact with any part or item inside the box. The die-cutting tool can be wrapped entirely with foam plastic. The support blocks inside the box must be placed on the short axes at both ends of the die-cutting tool, rather than on the blades.
Transportation of the die-cutting machine
If you need to transport the items by packing, make sure to use boxes of the appropriate size and made of sturdy material. Each box should only contain one die-cutting machine, and the surface of the die-cutting machine should be covered with foam plastic. The short shafts at both ends of the die-cutting machine need to be respectively fitted with wooden blocks with holes, and the wooden blocks should be fixed inside the box to prevent the die-cutting machine from shifting inside the box during transportation. The outside of the box should be tightly wrapped with packing tape, and the surface of the box must be marked with the word "易损件" to draw attention.
The lifting and transportation of the die-cutting machine
When hoisting and transporting in the workshop, a cloth should be placed on the surface of the die-cutting machine to prevent the cutting blades from being damaged. When installing other components, one must prevent the parts from loosening and falling onto the die-cutting knife; otherwise, the die-cutting knife will be severely damaged.
Maintenance and Usage of Die-cutting Machines
When the die-cutting machine is in operation, the die-cutting knives must always use the roller-type wiping felt provided by the manufacturer. Every day, a small amount of lubricating oil should be dripped onto the knife roller to keep the surface of the knife roller and the bottom砧roller clean, and to form a thin layer of oil film between them, thereby improving the wear resistance of the knife roller and the bottom砧roller surfaces.
During the usage process, it is necessary to keep track of the wear condition of the die-cutting knife gears at all times. If necessary, the gears should be replaced promptly. This is because during the processing, the manufacturer intentionally makes the hardness of the die-cutting knife gears slightly lower than that of the bottom anvil roller gears, causing the wear to occur first on the gears of the die-cutting knife. This can avoid frequent replacement of the relatively expensive and difficult-to-remove bottom anvil roller gears. This situation is very similar to the relative hardness relationship between the plate cylinder gears and the impression cylinder gears, because replacing the plate cylinder gears is easier.
When die-cutting, be sure to apply pressure evenly. Applying a layer of protective coating on the die-cutting knife surface can reduce the impact and also help to push out small paper fragments.
The usage habits of the die-cutting machine
When using a die-cutting machine, it is necessary to develop the habit of keeping records, including the number of die-cutting operations, the date when the die-cutting knives are returned for sharpening, the condition of the paper cut each time, and if necessary, also noting the use of metal ink. By referring to these records, one can know when to sharpen the die-cutting knives, when to order new die-cutting knives, and avoid situations such as production delays or waste.
Operators should pay attention to dust prevention and cleaning.
In actual production, when cutting the paper boxes, a large amount of waste paper edges and paper fibers will be generated. If not careful, they may enter the chain transmission parts, the moving platform of the cutting section, and some rotating motion parts, and may even cover the photoelectric detection heads, causing malfunctions. Therefore, the cleaning of the machine body of the cutting machine must be given top priority, and only then can the machine operate without faults.
Several key points for daily maintenance:
❆ Daily lubrication
Lubricate the opposite guide plate, gears, camshaft bearing, push rod movement, cam of the flywheel head, and direction joint, etc. with engine oil.
2. Main chain lubrication. The automatic lubrication device maintains the oil level and type.
❆ Weekly lubrication
The front adjustment device is filled with engine oil and grease.
2. Apply engine oil to the front gear and the cam; apply chain oil to the transmission chain of the measuring gauge; apply grease to the springs.
3. For the lifting cam of the flywheel, add engine oil; for the spring, add grease.
4. Add chain oil to the transmission chain of the Feda department.
5. For the SS type waste removal opening and closing mechanism, add engine oil.
6. Add engine oil to the upper template compression device.
7. SS type waste removal return movement parts: A: Spring and grease, B: Shaft joint and engine oil
8. Clean teeth and add engine oil.
9. Add grease to the paper feeding cam assembly.
10. Before the paper collection department, add engine oil to the paper feeding department.
11. Add oil to the left and right paper feeding devices of the paper collection section.
12. Add engine oil to the pressure regulating chain.
13. The body should be wiped clean at least twice a week to remove dust.
❆ Monthly lubrication
Add grease to the clutch.
2. For the secondary cam block device, add engine oil; for the spring, add grease.
3. Add grease to the chain wheel tensioning device of the paper collection section.
4. Add grease to the guide shafts of the SS type waste removal moving parts.
5. For the SS type waste removal opening and closing mechanism, apply grease.
❆ Others
The lubrication of the main transmission room requires the replacement of the engine oil at most once every six months. The frequency of replacement depends on the clarity of the oil through the viewing window.
2. Lubrication of the angle divider is carried out once every six months.
3. Lubrication for the air compressor should be carried out once every three months.
